Issue
Hydrogen is expected to be a dominant transportation fuel. Many countries have implemented plans and mandates aimed at reducing hydrocarbon consumption and reducing carbon emissions. Additionally, there is growing concern amongst the world's populous regarding the climate effects of hydrocarbon-based emissions.
In the worldwide hydrocarbon transportation, delivery and energy infrastructure, the required volumes of hydrogen to support these changes will need to be delivered in liquid form necessitating the need for cryogenic pumps. At the end user point, consumption will require localized or on-board high-pressure gas storage in the same fashion that today's vehicles carry a fuel reserve.
Our goal is to understand the market opportunities, anticipate industry directions, and develop solutions to address these needs in the liquid hydrogen transportation, distributed power, HyCO/SMR plants and filling sectors.
