Issue
Parents often make mistakes when dosing their children (administering at night, mix of treatments in large families, loss of or improper reading of instructions, etc.).
It can be difficult to follow dosing amounts (age, weight, time between doses, different units used for different medications) and instructions (duration of treatment, number of doses per day, etc.).
Pipettes have no safety systems to allow children to take medication themselves if monitored by an adult (adds a fun and educational aspect and responsibility for the child).
Solution
The JUST’ADOSE® pipette enables doses to be pre-measured.
Using the sliding scale on the side of the pipette, you can choose the amount of medication according to the dose required for the treatment you are going to administer to your child (see image below). The pipette will then automatically limit the amount of medication.
The JUST’ADOSE® pipette also enables treatment to be monitored using a dedicated smartphone app. The pipette is equipped with a QR code that allows parents to open an app on their smartphone. This app can be used to:
- Calculate the correct dose according to the weight and age of the child (conversion to ml, mg, kg, etc.)
- Monitor the treatment of the child/children with a note of the last time a medication was administered and reminders of when to give the next. Information on the medication administered must be entered manually to provide the following information: What time did I give the treatment? Which treatment? To which child?
