Issue
Controlling the sound of your house or apartment is a daily problem for individuals:
- Increase sound absorption between the bedrooms and the common areas in the house
- Increase sound absorption in a room dedicated to music
- Don't disturb your neighbours when organizing parties with friends
- Have a good acoustic experience when watching a movie or listening to music
- Etc.
However, there is currently no solution for the home interior design market that combines acoustic performance and aesthetics at a retail price.
Existing solutions do not address user requirements as they are often made up of the following:
- “structural” solutions: expensive sound panels installed early in the construction process, lacking in aesthetics and with very lengthy installation times.
- “professional” solutions such as wall foam in rolls for cinemas that are specific to very large surfaces and feature oversized sound characteristics.
- "individual" solutions: difficult to implement (fixed to the walls), that cannot be moved once installed, with limited shapes and colours and very expensive (ex. : 145€ for each 60cm x 60cm square).
These solutions are difficult to install, not movable once installed, with limited shapes and colours and too expensive for the consumer market.
Solution
We have developed a sound insulating foam solution package in the form of thermoformed squares (45 cm 2) in shapes and colours that can be customised to decorate an area while improving the acoustics of the place.
The very simple attachment system (double-sided Velcro), modularity and multiple colours and shapes of our solution allow for infinite modification of interior areas of all dimensions. Renters don't need to hesitate to install this solution which is 100% removable and leaves no traces on the wall.
Perfectly suited to restaurants, waiting rooms, offices and residential housing. Our solution is 7x cheaper than that of competing products and allows us to use acoustic constraints as opportunities to create aesthetic and pleasant atmospheres for the public market.
