Low-thickness construction block with integrated RT2020 insulation
The Thermimur block frees up habitable space: +%5 on average. It meets the RT2020 (R>5) standard with only 22.5cm of thickness, without any added insulation.

Benefits
- Frees between and 3 to 7% more living space
- Meets the rt2020 standard without any additional insulation
- Reduced building timescales (glued construction + no additional insulation)
Issue
Insulation takes space: an insulated wall generally adds 35cm thickness, which increases further with the RT2020 standard. This thickness is lost living space.
Furthermore, insulation requires the involvement of multiple trades (shell and finishing trades) which impacts the worksite in terms of cost and timescales.
Existing solutions resolve none of these issues.
- The Climat block by Alkern and the Airium technology of Lafarge both require additional insulation to satisfy the RT2020 standard (adding significant thickness)
- The Climamur block by Wienerberger requires no additional insulation but has a greater thickness of over 40cm

Solution
Thermimur complies with the RT2020 standard, measuring only 22.5cm thick and requiring no additional insulation:
- Patented monolithic architecture based around a PIR foam core: exceptional insulation and seismic durability
- Positioned using guide grooves and glued assembly: quick and error-free construction
- No thermal bridges
The thinness of the block (22.5cm) frees between 3 to 7% more living space for villa-type constructions, and buildings up to R+4.
For a home measuring 90m2, Thermimur releases around 4m2 of space, a net gain of:
- €36,000 in Paris or London
- €32,000 in Geneva
- €17,200 in Berlin
The solution also presents several other advantages, including:
- Shell stage only: simplifies the site
- Quick to install: 2.5m2/h
- Cable passthroughs integrated into the concrete section of the block: simple and airtight
