Issue

Personal treatment as practiced today is faced with certain limits:

- Great disparities in treatment delivered by different practitioners
- Only approximate adherence to protocols
- Lack of data to objectively judge the effectiveness of treatments
- Few options for personalization
- Lack of treatment follow-up
- Limited access to treatment (time slots, staff)
- Strenuous for the practitioner

Partially robotized solutions currently exist in the healthcare and wellbeing field (slimming machines, pulsed light, ultrasound, etc.) that require constant manipulation of the device by the practitioner on the patient’s body. In addition, the few existing hands-free solutions are either:

- Fixed systems
- Systems that move according to a standardized move set that does not take into account the morphology, position, movements or desires of the patient (or professional) during treatment.

At present, there is no hands-free solution that fully meets treatment protocols and provides personalized treatment responding to the limits encountered by the personal treatment market.

Solution

We have developed a technology that makes it possible to:

- Define a treatment protocol on a human body model
- Automatically adapt the protocol to the body of a given patient
- Deliver treatment through a robotized arm whilst perfectly following the treatment protocol adapted to the morphology of the patient and their position in real time

The solution can safely be used autonomously or to assist a care professional. It adapts in real time to the wishes of the patient or the practitioner through multiple means of interaction (voice, gestures, touchpad, tablet, etc.). It also makes it possible to:

- Collect the patient’s physiological data (heart and breathing rate, level of relaxation, etc.)
- Collect historical data (treatment provided, pressure chosen, modifications to treatment, etc.)
- Collect observational data (presence of scars, beauty spots, etc.)
- Manually add data to the patient’s profile by either the practitioner or the patient themselves (chronic pains, etc.)
